1:1 MENTORSHIP FOR TEACHERS

Whether you're a new teacher or a seasoned pro, teaching movement well takes more than just knowing the exercises.

My 30-Day IGNITE mentorship is tailored to help you refine your cueing, command the room, and build confidence in your teaching voice.

We look at everything — technique + cueing anatomy, class flow + sequencing, musicality, business development + community building, and the deeper “why” behind how you teach.

FAQ ABOUT MENTORING

ABOUT ME

I am obsessed with movement and getting people INTO their bodies.

I was raised in New York by a Muay Thai fighter — literally thrown into the ring — but also playing cello and doing musical theatre. That contrast kind of sums me up: equal parts discipline, rhythm, and curiosity.

After moving to North Carolina, I leaned deeper into dance, falling in love with movement thanks to teachers who helped me feel good in my body — not just perform in it.

When a career in musical theatre didn’t pan out, I pivoted to teaching fitness while working in medical aesthetics. I’ve taught everything from Barre (trained by the OG Fred DeVito), to hot vinyasa, rhythm cycling, megaformer, and eventually landed in my home base: Reformer + Mat.

A random Instagram message took me to Dubai, where I opened my own studio and created Collective Movement — a guided journey through breathwork, somatics, ecstatic dance, and conditioning. It was a first-of-its-kind experience.

After Dubai, I moved to Brussels to lead the opening of Animo Studio’s second location, including a 20-reformer studio. I developed Rhythmic Reformer, a method that uses music and beat-driven cueing to teach large groups with connection and clarity. I later rebranded their mat concept into MOVE — a blend of functional movement, Pilates, and dance conditioning that people still tell me is one of the most unique classes they’ve ever taken.

Now, I’m fully focused on The Acosta Approach — mentoring movement teachers and leading teacher trainings around the world. From the U.S. to the Middle East to Europe and Australia, I’m helping instructors teach better, lead with purpose, and hold space with presence.
